Attest is a SaaS provider in the martech sector, providing market research and surveys to marketing teams of mid-market and corporate customers. Their growth had been impressive, and they were looking to undertake a $20m Series B funding round. Attest’s team is young and talented, but this represented a step-change in scale of fundraising, so they approached Catapult for support on the commercial due diligence related parts of the raise.


Catapult developed a bespoke investment readiness audit for Attest. This covered market conditions, competitive positioning, proposition, website, collateral, go-to-market, reporting and people management, amongst others. Not only did Catapult successfully anticipate the questions that investors would ask in the raise, we identified a host of different areas of BAU improvement around proposition, messaging and go-to-market, which Attest rolled out using their in-house resources. The Series A was successful, with $16m being raised via New Enterprise Associates (and others), with a $14m follow-on very shortly thereafter. Attest has just announced a $60m Series B.
